  • What’s proper etiquette for the studio?
One of the best parts about practicing at Yoga Loft is the amazing community! One of the best ways to show your support is by arriving on time and staying for the final resting pose, savasana! Door Policy: Our doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of class. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause you to arrive late. Therefore, we have a grace period of 5 minutes for latecomers. We also ask that you: Remove shoes inside the studio and place them near cubbies. Since we walk around barefoot, this helps us keep the studio clean and germ-free! Please refrain from wearing perfume or strongly scented lotions to protect those with sensitive lungs. Turn off cell phones for the duration of class.
  • What can I expect during my first class?
Thank you for choosing to practice at Yoga Loft! We're looking forward to supporting you on our yogic journey! Once you've pre-registered for class, please plan on arriving around 10-15 minutes early. This way, your teacher can check you in and familiarized with our studio. If you don't have a mat, we offer complementary mat rentals! And we provide everything else that you'll need like props.
  • What should I wear / bring to a class?
We recommend wearing clothing you feel comfortable in moving in and bringing a water. If you run out of water, we provide complementary spring water. ✨ We provide everything else you'll need like a yoga mat, and props, such as blocks and straps, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
  • Do you accept walk-ins?
Pre-registation is highly encouraged! Since we have limited class sizes, we can't guarantee space is available in class unless you reserve your spot in advance.
  • What is your cancellation / no-show policy?
Because we have limited class sizes, we have a 2-hour cancellation policy. You can cancel your reservation through our booking platform, Momence, found on the Schedule page. Late cancellations and no-shows will result in a $5 fee or deduction from your class package.
  • What is your refund policy?
Because we are a small business, we are unable to provide refunds. All sales are final. However, we understand that emergencies may arise, if something happens that prohibits you from attending class, please fill out our Contact Us page.
  • Is there an age limit for attending classes?
Yup! Students are required to be 12+ years of age. All students aged 12-17 are required to have a legal guardian present in class. Pre-registration is required, Contact Us to create their account in Momence.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
We're a cash free facility. We accept all types of card payments and Apple Pay.
  • What is your Late Policy?
We believe in creating a peaceful and respectful environment for all our students to fully immerse themselves in the practice. To maintain the harmony of our classes and ensure the best experience for everyone, we have implemented a late arrival policy. 1. Late Arrival Window: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause you to arrive late. Therefore, we have a grace period of 5 minutes for latecomers. 2. Policy for Late Arrivals: If you arrive within the first 5 minutes of the class, you may quietly enter the studio and find a spot in the back row to minimize disruption to other students. If you arrive after the 5-minute grace period, you will not be allowed to enter the class as our doors will be locked. Late arrivals disrupt the flow of the class, can be distracting for both the instructor and other members, and missing the warm up can put you in risk of injury.
  • Do I need to have prior yoga experience to join?
No experience is necessary! Our classes cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Our teacher will provide variations and modifications to ensure everyone can participate comfortably.
  • What types of yoga do you offer?
We offer a variety of yoga classes to suit different preferences and levels. Our experienced teachers are skilled in guiding you through each practice! What is Vinyasa Yoga? Vinyasa (Flow) Yoga is a dynamic and fluid style of yoga that focuses on the coordination of breath with movement. In Sanskrit (the language of yoga), "vinyasa" means "to place in a special way," and in the context of yoga, it refers to the intentional sequencing of poses in a flow-like manner.
  • How do you handle airborne contaminants like COVID?
We have two state-of-the-art air filtration systems in the studio that neutralize airborne contaminants like COVID-19. These are running 24/7 to ensure the air quality in the studio is as clean as possible. In addition, we have a hospital-grade filter in the HVAC!
  • Are you a heated yoga studio?
No we're not a heated yoga studio, but you'll still work up a sweat in our Vinyasa and Bhakti classes!
  • Do you have water available?
We sure do! We provide complementary spring water in the studio. But please provide your own water bottle, as we are a plastic-free facility.
