About Ashlee

Ashlee McDougall is the co-owner of Yoga Loft Tucson and has been teaching yoga for over a decade. As a studio owner, teacher trainer, and mentor, she has guided hundreds of teachers in building sustainable, heartfelt careers in a rapidly evolving industry.

She is an E-500 Registered Yoga Teacher with more than 1,600 hours of advanced training with respected educators, including Janet Stone and Jason Crandell. Her work has been published in Yoga Journal, where she has been recognized for her sequencing, commitment to accessibility, and anatomical knowledge.

Beyond the mat, Ashlee is known for her transparency around teacher pay, boundaries, business structure, and the real-world complexities of studio ownership. Her mentorship bridges the gap between heartfelt intention and practical implementation, helping teachers turn vision into successful offerings.

Ashlee began practicing yoga to manage symptoms of cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening lung disease. Her lived experience deeply informs her commitment to accessibility, sustainability, and helping teachers build careers that support their health rather than deplete it.
